DR. STRANGE MOVIE RELEASE DATE.
This year is already turning out to be a mad exciting year for superhero comic livers like me. If you've seen Batman v Superman your love for 2016 already started rising fast, and when Deadpool premiered...wow. I've literally watched that movie 4 times and I'm probably going to watch it again after posting this. Well, the year is about to get better for all movie lovers with the Dr.Strange movie set to be released on the fourth of November this year.
Right, so for those of you who don't really read comic, here's a little on Dr. Strange.
Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, best known under his alias Doctor Strange, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A former doctor, Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats.
Doctor Strange was an egotistical, but very brilliant and talented surgeon. So you can think of him as a modern day Ben Carson, just with like, a mountain sized ego. He cared only about money and turned patients away when they couldn't pay his fees. When a car accident destroys his hands, he searched the globe looking for a way to repair them. It's after a long, hard search that drains his finances as well as himself, he finds The Ancient One.
After becoming one of the old Sorcerer Supreme's students, he becomes a practitioner of both the mystical arts as well as martial arts. Along with knowing many powerful spells, his costume has two mystical objects, the Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto that gives him added powers. Strange is aided along the way by his friend and servant to the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, and a large assortment of mystical objects. He takes up residence in a place called the Sanctum Sanctorum, located in New York City. Later, Strange takes the title of Sorcerer Supreme. Debuting in the Silver Age of comics, the character has been featured in several eponymous comics series and adapted in a variety of media including video games, an animated television show, and films.
So you know about Dr. Strange. I think I'm ready to dub this year a superhero year, you know, with all the movies so far. I just pray the movie is a good one, no no, great one, and if it beats Deadpool, I'll be really impressed. Benedict Cumberbatch is going to play the Dr. Strange role and I think he's the best guy for the part ( I mean have you seen Sherlock and also the Imitation Game?).
I now have two things to look forward to, the release of the "8th Harry Potter book" and now Dr.Strange. Thank you J.K. Rowling and Marvel.
