This years Oscars which was the 88th Academy Awards ceremony was quite the controversial award show, no black nominees and whatnot. We all had a lot of questions when the nominees list came out, with some people including celebrities wanting Chris Rock to step down as the show's host. I personally thought this years ceremony would be a flop, guess you can say i have completely taken my words back. Yesterday at the Dolby Theatre, the night was incredibly epic, and Chris Rock could not have done a better job at hosting the event. Also, finally, Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Oscar (i have already gotten tired of laughing at him for not having one). Fifa has elected Gianni Infantino , a European football administrator born just six miles from Sepp Blatter’s birthplace, as its new president in a bid to restore the reputational damage wrought by his disgraced predecessor. The Uefa general secretary takes over from Sepp Blatter at governing body. Infantino fought off competition from Sheikh Salman and three others. The Swiss-Italian Uefa general secretary only entered the race when Michel Platini was suspended then banned for six years for accepting a “disloyal payment” from Blatter in 2011. But Infantino, who spent €500,000 of Uefa funds on touring the globe in the runup to the election, triumphed over the controversial Asian Football Confederation president, Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al-Khalifa, in the second round of voting by 115 votes to 88.

Grammy-winner Israel Houghton announced the end of his 20-year marriage to Meleasa Houghton, telling Facebook followers "I failed and sinned in my marriage."  "Several years ago I failed and sinned in my marriage. ... Although we tried, the challenges in our relationship have proven too much to overcome. We have always handled our family and ministry with grace and generosity toward others, discretion, and privacy," Houghton posted.   Houghton is the senior worship leader at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church. He and then-wife Meleasa founded New Breed Ministries in 1995. Ahead of the MWC 2016 trade show, Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7, its flagship smartphone for 2016. Much like its past year's flagship smartphone, the much-awaited smartphone comes in two variants: the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The smartphones will be made available in select regions from March 11, with pre-orders beginning from Tuesday. Pre-orders in some regions will get a free Gear VR headset bundled alongside six games. Before we even get down to business on this fantastic news, I do have to admit that I'm a great Harry Potter fan, who knows pretty much everything about all the Harry Potter stories, and is probably more excited than you are. More than 30 million vehicles in the United States, made by 10 different automakers, have been recalled to replace frontal airbags on the driver’s side or passenger’s side, or both. The airbags, made by major parts supplier Takata, were mostly installed in cars from model year 2002 through 2008, although it has been expanded through 2014 in some cases. Some of those airbags could deploy explosively, injuring or even killing car occupants. At the heart of the problem is the airbag’s inflator, a metal cartridge loaded with propellant wafers, which in some cases has ignited with explosive force. If the inflator housing ruptures in a crash, metal shards from the airbag can be sprayed throughout the passenger cabin— a potentially disastrous outcome from a supposedly life-saving device.
