AN 8th HARRY POTTER BOOK?

Before we even get down to business on this fantastic news, I do have to admit that I'm a great Harry Potter fan, who knows pretty much everything about all the Harry Potter stories, and is probably more excited than you are. Having said that, I honestly think it was about time an eighth book was released. I remember seriously almost crying when I finished reading the seventh book, thinking "wow, so that's the end?" Now, many people are confused as to if this is a novel, and if it'll be a prequel. To be perfectly clear, the new book's title is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and it is NOT A PREQUEL, as J.K.Rowling has clearly stated over and over again on twitter...seriously...she should put #NotAPrequel in her bio because the questions should be getting unbearable. The new Harry Potter book is simply the published script of Cursed Child which is a new play based on the original Harry Potter story by J.K.Rowling herself, and as she tweeted " The script will be in book form, true, but it's still not a prequel because it's set 19 years after" So basically, if you're as unfortunate as I am and won't get the chance to go to Britain's capital to watch the play, this is your chance to read a book on it...pretty cool huh?
If you still want our favorite author to write a prequel, wait no more, she actually has. Again on twitter in a reply to a tweet, J.K.Rowling specifically states that she has written a prequel and it's the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be released on the 31st of July this year  in both print and eBook versions, making 2016 officially my best year. Now to give you a little gist of what the book is about, it is going to be a story 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts ended and will be centered on Harry's youngest child Albus, struggling to be under the weight of a family legacy he didn't ask for. I think we all knew if there was going to be a new book, it would be about Albus, you don't just name one child after both Dumbledore and Snape and not write a book about him...right?
So there you have it, we can now start the agonizing wait till July to read the book, it's only sad that Fred Weasely won't be in it, I still haven't gotten over his death.
