Bukom Banku to begin JHS

Controversial Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, aka Banku Flesh has said in an interview that he is going back to school.

Kamoko, who dropped out of school to pursue a career in boxing, told Jay Foley and Jeremie on LIVE FM’s morning show Live Breakfast Club that after achieving success, fame and fortune from the trade, he was now ready to go back to school.

“I am going back to school. I am going to Accra Royal in Jamestown and ready to start from Form 1. Education is very important and I don’t joke with that. I admire people who pursue education and that is what I want to do.”

Kamoko has been trending recently in the news and on social media for bleaching his skin and putting up a series of pictures and videos about it. He also recently put up a video of him stripping whiles declaring his support for the National Democratic Party (NDC). Even though his command over the English language is not top notch, he is admired for being true to his identity. Now he says he is ready to change that by going back to school.

Briamah Kamoko has ten children with different women, and has vowed to put them through an appreciable level of education, adding “I don’t want them to become boxers.”
