IS JOEL OSTEEN A FRAUD?

When Donald Trump first announced his intent to become the next president of the United States, I laughed. I literally fell on the floor and almost died. Recently however, I'm almost about to admit that if I had placed a bet that Trump wouldn't have gone far, I would probably have lost. He's doing well, and not just normal well, extremely well. Now Trump has been getting quite an amount of supporters, some being just the average American, and some being some quite prominent people like Ben Carson. The most shocking addition to the "Trump Supporters Union" recently is Joel Osteen. For those of you who don't know him (I might add that'll be quite shocking) Joel Scott Osteen is an American preacher, televangelist, author, and the Senior Pastor of Lakewood Church, the largest Protestant church in the United States, in Houston, Texas. His televised sermons are seen by over 7 million viewers weekly and over 20 million monthly in over 100 countries. I'm pretty sure you get the drift now. This guy is huge. He's one of those really influential people. Now Joel Osteen as already stated is a strong Christian and as such many Christians do look up to him as a role model ( I said many, not all). Again also, we all know that some of the visions of Donald Trump are quite, well, trashy. So it'll be a bit weird if someone like Joel Osteen decided to publicly support him. So this is the whole deal, Joel Osteen was when being interviewed on radio to promote his new book, was asked what he thought about Donald Trump, and he said
“Mr. Trump is an incredible communicator and brander. He’s been a friend of our ministry. He’s a good man." Now if you're one of those really strong Christians who looked up to Joel, and probably don't like Trump because of his line of thought, your mind will first go to the "he's been a friend of our ministry" part of Joel's answer on radio. I personally didn't see the big deal in all this. Sure as a big personality in the Christian world it would've been a bit wise to not announce your support for a presidential candidate on radio, but other than that, I didn't see anything wrong, but, not everyone is Jeffrey Wellington,so not everyone is as unperturbed as I am. Joel Osteen's stance on Donald Trump's campaign has been met with nothing short of outright rage. There's literally a bad comment about Joel Osteen on every single social platform. With tweets like "Joel Osteen preaches Christ's Word. Christ kicked over money changing tables at Temple. Osteen backs a billionaire. Tables intact. #Fraud" by Jay Mohr and "Next time someone posts a Joel Osteen quote I'm slapping them." by @djbenhameen, it's pretty obvious that people aren't happy with all this. I'm still waiting to hear what Joel Osteen will say about this, because he will have to speak, you know, eventually. When he does, he better choose his words carefully, or suffer the wrath of millions.
