Here are some facts you may never have known about the BIG SIX.

The Big Six nicknamed colonial governor Sir Gerald Creasy "Crazy Creasy" .


J.B Danquah was the first continental African to receive a doctorate in law from the University of London and also wrote a play titled "The Third Woman".


Kwame Nkrumah was born on a Saturday but went to school in the United States under the name Francis Kofi Nwia Nkrumah.


Ebenezer Ako-Adjei played a role in the establishment of the Gold Coast Broadcasting Service, later named the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.


Emmanuel Obetsebi-Lamptey was nicknamed "Liberty Lamptey".

Controversial Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, aka Banku Flesh has said in an interview that he is going back to school. Kamoko, who dropped out of school to pursue a career in boxing, told Jay Foley and Jeremie on LIVE FM’s morning show Live Breakfast Club that after achieving success, fame and fortune from the trade, he was now ready to go back to school. “I am going back to school. I am going to Accra Royal in Jamestown and ready to start from Form 1. Education is very important and I don’t joke with that.
